The purpose of this study is to explore the clinical perspectives, preparation, and practice patterns of Speech-language pathologists providing dysphagia treatment and management to patients with Alzheimer's disease in Skilled nursing and Long-term care facilities.
Research Question:
What reasons do SLPs attribute to lack of clinical preparation in dysphagia treatment and management with Alzheimer's patients?

ReplyDeleteSounds like you're doing a similar study like I am on different disorders. I'm focusing on service delivery models and you want to basically know similar things. It would be interesting to see the results of that. I'm curious to see what mine bring in the schools too. Are you going to survey or interview or use a questionaire? I'm still looking at those things too. This sounds really interesting, and I can't wait to see what you come up with!
